Helping Rebuild Mount Zion School, Church Canteeen and Community
Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Delroy Allen, Founder and Managing Director of the Friends of Jamaica Non-Profit Tennis Academy and Enrichment Centre, a registered 501(c)(3) EIN92 -0986184 organization in the United States and a recognized nonprofit in Jamaica. I am also the Managing Director of the Takuma Boutique Hotel in Montego Bay.
For years, our nonprofit has been committed to transforming lives through tennis — not only by teaching the sport but by instilling discipline, integrity, leadership, and hope. We use tennis as a vehicle to uplift socially and economically challenged youth, helping them rise above poverty and giving them opportunities they might never have had otherwise.
Today, our community needs your help more than ever. Hurricane Melissa has left Montego Bay in severe devastation — our school has lost 80% of its roof, our historic church is 60% damaged, and many families are struggling to access even basic necessities such as food and clean water.
On October 31st, my daughter and I will be arriving in Montego Bay to personally assist in relief efforts. Through the Friends of Jamaica Non-Profit Tennis Academy, we are organizing emergency aid to provide food, clean water, and essential supplies to affected families. At Takuma Boutique Hotel, we have already opened our doors to offer temporary shelter, charging stations, and internet access so people can reconnect with their loved ones.
We are asking for your support. Every donation is 100% tax-deductible through our U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit and will go directly toward purchasing food and vital supplies for those most in need.
In addition, if you or your organization can assist with cargo space, shipping, or logistical support, it would make an enormous difference in getting relief supplies to the community faster.
